The chickpea (Cicer Arietinum) is a legume of the Fabaceae family, also known as gram, Bengal gram, garbanzo, or chana. Each pod carries two or three peas, which are dried to the familiar beige kernel.
We supply raw pure chickpeas from recent Sudanese harvests, machine-cleaned and graded, with milling into gram flour available on request. A single cup delivers roughly 29% of the daily value for protein and 49% for fibre, along with manganese and folate — which is why chickpeas anchor everything from hummus and falafel to roasted snacks, curries, and commercial food processing.
